Inspirational Card of the day, Taoist Meditation Oracles Sanctuary Renewal for SW

In honor of Stuart Wilde’s passing I am divining through consulting a Taoist Daily Meditations Book by Deng Ming-Dao.

I prayed and asked Stuart’s spirit to come to me and what lesson would be appropriate for today. May 8  one or 2 days pre-eclipse.

SCHOLASTICISM
Ocean inside a skull-cup, seeking the universal code in letters.
The mind is like a flower on icy water: An eye within the petals.

THE MEANING
The intellect must be fully developed before it can be brought to a point of neutrality.  Spiritual contemplation involves no categories, no dualism, it doesn’t need scholasticism. Spirituality is  pure action that requires the totality of our inner beings. It needs pure involvement not study. Develop the intellect, give it free play, then leave it behind.
Get educated. Use the mind to discriminate. Be purely  in your actions, with no mind. When you balance the two you will become a sage in time.
A sage knows how to balance both. Stuart did that.

The oracles in the book relate to the 365 days of the year.

I looked up May 1st to see what it said.
SANCTUARY

Golden light skims azure bay,
dense air heavy with laurel.
windless dusk smears to night,
sonorous pool in sheltered grove.

Finding places of tranquility in the booming, noisy, crazy, info overloaded world is a balm, a necessity and a salvation. Find peace in nature in the trees. The chance encounter with a secret place – perhaps a grove of trees, promises a mysterious comfort.
Renewal is a profound tonic. With sanctuary and rest , we can prepare to go forth again.

Stuart talked about “the renewal.”  We know we will be seeing you alive and funny as ever in our dreams and visions. You are your true infinite eternal self now.
