The Sun just passed through those degrees , and 20 degrees Taurus was the degree of the Solar Eclipse on May 9.

Ruled by Mercury, well we have the Sun  Venus Mars and Jupiter in Gemini now ruled by Mercury till the 31st.

The 4 of disks is an earthy card. Four symbolize the four elements, fire, water, air, earth.

The #4 in the Tarot Trumps is the EMPEROR associated with Aries and Mars’ its ruler.

The fours are always a foundation, bedrock, related to home. The 4th house in Astrology is always Home, roots, mother, nurturing, sustenance, emotional security.

MEANING

Batten down the hatches. Find a place to stake your claim. Own your own power. Get grounded. There’s lots of air energy although that will change to flowing water soon. The foundation you build-a very Saturn thing, is what you stand on.  The core energy supports the entire structure.

“There’s going to be a lot of tension in the city, said Tara Greene, a Toronto- based astrologer and psychic whose tarot cards warned of a rocky year ahead for Canada’s largest city.

 Let’s begin with city hall.

 After a year that saw municipal politics dominate headlines for all the wrong reasons, Greene’s astrology chart and tarot card readings pointed to yet another stretch of instability and political strife, with concerns over “corruption” and council’s lack of cohesion resulting in more questions than answers over what to do about the city’s ageing infrastructure.

 Greene said the city will continue to neglect its infrastructural needs as condominiums rise and the city’s streets clog  with traffic unless the city welcomes Major political changes.

 ”It sounds like the City of Toronto is going to through a huge upheaval,” she said. “This is a critical “make it or break it” time.. if  the city is going to survive as a viable world-class city, it’s going to have to change.”

“It’s not such a good time for Toronto,” she added. “It’s a testing time.”

In terms of ousted Mayor Rob Ford, whose fate on council has yet to be determined, Greene pulled three tarot cards that pointed to an ominous future for

The man- the Knight of Wands { a leader}, the Prince of Cups { power, control and secrets} and the 9 of Swords { a negative outcome}.

{Ford’s} in a benevolent zone right now, but I don’t  think that’s going to last.” Said Greene, predicting that his time at the city’s helm  would end in March.

Inspirational Card of the day, the Carol Herzer Astro Tarot was calling me.

Artist Carol Herzer produced this Astro-Tarot deck in the 80′s and I bought a hand made copy from her at Susun Weed’s beautiful Wise Woman Center in 1987 where I went to be initiated as a green witch. That’s  a good witch who uses herbs and white magic to help and heal people only.

Tarot Trump #20 is usually known as Judgement, representing Judgement Day in the Book of Revelations, where the Archangel Gabriel blows his trumpet and the dead rise again. Called the Aeon in The Thoth deck which I mainly use. It is called Regeneration in the Cosmo Astro tarot deck.

THE MESSAGE

Very inspiring.  The 11th house refers to the 11th sign of Aquarius and  group or TRIBAL consciousness.  friendship, loss of feeling of alienation and aloneness. One’s connection to humanity, the world as family and cosmic family. HOPE and the ideal of a socially integrated world.  Many seed forms coming from a common source.

REBIRTH and the growth of love, our common humanity, leadership without ego, detachment emotionally.

This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, literally.
