The VERY  Grand Trines are in effect now from the beginning of July

The first ones are in effect TODAY July 16 with a dash of hard reality thrown in

Scorpio Moon Trining MARS at 11:14 am PDT then Jupiter in Cancer @ 3:43 pm  PDT

GRAND TRINES are easy peasy shiny bright gifts but you gotta open the present and you have to make the magic happen.

Trines are like pyramids, they focus energy 

CANCER is all 4th house issues, your mom your unconscious, your roots, home, endings, birth.

As with all SCORPIO MOONs it’s still shadow work time

its not all a bed of roses, YET

The trines by the Scorpio Moon means that

the planets are handing us  easy shovels and pick axes to do the diamond mining.

To shine like a diamond

a piece of carbon must endure enormous pressure

which is the transformative process

and then you must be  polished.

The Seven dwarves in Snow White are the 7 deadly sins/chakras/planets in disguise.

They are miners for a heart of gold.

The Knave of swords is traditionally a very young teenager shown wielding a sword. He is just learning, open, gullible. He has lots of energy, is naive,idealistic, unformed, he is perceptive, curious, constantly seeking answers.  He is always questioning, and has a tumultuous energy, he is a bit like a small whirlwind. He loves information. Swords are the element of Air and the mind, which are meant to discern meaning. He may think he knows everything before he knows anything. He is quick to fight, defend his ideas which are still very new.

DIANA/Artemis is the MOON Goddess Herself.

She is a young ever youthful virgin Goddess who belonged to no man.  She was a huntress, always carrying a bow and arrows and running in the woods  at night to hunt with her dogs. She is Mistress of wild animals, as she derives from a very ancient cult of the BEAR, or the Big Dipper constellation. She is patroness of wild animals. She protects women in childbirth, and protects women and young girls from disease. The dear and the cypress tree are two of her symbols.   She symbolizes virgin ONENESS, as she is whole unto herself. Other attributes of the Goddess are trust and innocence. She is associated with water, the heart, feelings, emotions. She ritually renewed herself in a sacred spring . One of her main temples was in Ephesus Turkey, where the Goddess is shown with hundreds of breasts down the front of her body, symbolizing unconditional nurturing.

MEANING

When I first chose the card, the first image that popped into my head was Edward Snowden, now safe in Venezuela. Like the knave of swords, he is a brash brave, curios, information gatherer, and a 29th degree Gemini to boot, who used the pen as a weapon,which is way mightier than any sword.

The 2nd version of the Card, the Goddess version seems to seamless blend with the NEW MOON in Cancer symbolism which I wrote about in my previous article. The Goddess Artemis, is a young wild, exuberant Goddess. She is associated with women, water, nourishment, protection.

Emotions will be high on this New Moon. Mars is the ONLY planet in an AIR sign, and sometimes our emotions can overwhelm us. The element of air as detachment is necessary so that we can witness our emotions and not be engulfed by their immense power.

All of the #5′s are difficult challenging, frustrating, they are smack in the middle of 1-10.

Five’s dont’ feel good, but all is not lost.

I notice we are on the 5th day of June.

Swords, arrows, knives are always the element of AIR, thoughts, mind, consciousness.

I looked through many an image of the 5 of Swords and all of them have titles like Defeat, Frustration, etc.

Well sometimes we come to these mental blocks…writer’s block, bad hair day, headaches, frustration, exhaustion in the head,

Lots of kids are cramming for exams,,, it’s in the air, picking up other people’s negativity, 

and too much critiquing of your self,

Run out of ideas, drawing a blank, can’t remember where I put… brain fart… lost train of thought

and mentally wandering up and down the wrong alleyways.

Stop trying to convert or arguing with people who can’t or won’t hear you.

“sucks to be you” as my teenager daughter would say.

All tangled up in the barbed wire of your own mind has left you feeling “ARGGHHHH”

stop pushing, there are limits.

 

MEANING

 

Do you really want to be thinking about, doing, engaged in THIS?

Whatever your THIS Is. Stop and drop it. You can’t think about this anymore.

Drop it. Sink down into your solar plexus. Feel your “orrende” your spiritual centre.

This is where your mind/will belongs. Not in your head. Place your thoughts there just below your navel.

Breathe in deeply 5 times. Feel the tension slip away.

Just let it go, it will pass.  A test of your mental resolve.

When I started studying Tarot I’d already learned Astrology, so I was quite bewildered to discover Gemini as the sign of the LOVERS at first. The Air sign is detached, Peter Pan like. Gemini is duality, ambivalence, immature but mainly about COMMUNICATING, which is vital to any relationship.

Gemini is a twin sign- think YIN YANG in  Eastern mysticism. In the West we split- Masculine/Feminine

but BOTH are an inseparable part of  the Universe. Polarity, magnetism, opposites attract, balance, create life.

“Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along.” RUMI,  Sufi mystic 12th Century 

LOVE is ALL THERE IS and ALL YOU NEED according to The Beatles.

Everyone wants it, needs it.  Can’t thrive without it.

The Masculine and Feminine are the microcosm of the macrocosm of the God/Goddess head, which is a Totality in unity.

The # 6 is symbolized by the 6 pointed star or Merkabah in 3-D. Yes it is the Symbol of Israel, but it is also an ancient tantric symbol from INDIA of the balance of Heaven and EARTH which all religions worshipped  originally.

The Receptive, Feminine and the Creative, masculine are the two primary Hexagrams in the I CHING the ancient wisdom oracle of China. 

JUNE is the wedding month, also Sun in  GEMINI energy 

MEANING

TO FIND and receive Love, you must Love yourself first. 

You must have the INNER marriage of the Masculine and the Feminine to be whole and complete.

The Feminine is the intuition, the heart and feelings, and the Masculine acts on Her behalf.

When the two become ONE that is ALCHEMY.

THE KNIGHT of Disks rules the physical world. He is associated with the last decan of LEO-20-29.59 degrees and the first two decans of VIRGO- 1-20 degrees Virgo. Aug 13th- Sept 11th.

The Knight of DISKS is wise, he loves being in the physical world. He is a custodian.

He represents, youth great potential. He is  stable, of service, a perfectionist, nit-picky, with a good memory. Sees practical material solutions and results.

In the Sacred India Tarot it depicts the Buddha who, the moment he gained enlightenment placed his finger on Gaia on Mother Earth to witness and make real his enlightenment. Ground with the earth, the telluric realm has the planet’s cellular memory with in. Rocks especially that is why it is so important to work with crystals.

This card also references the GREEN MAN, the vegetative GOD< very very ancient in India and all Pagan customs. The card depicts this being known as KIRTHIMUKHA  one of the earliest and oldest representations of the DIVINE in NAture in INdia. He is a protector, he is a YAKSHA. Buddha belongs to this clan. HInduism Buddhism and Jainism had to assimilate the Yakshas and the NAGAS the other deities  before they could gain wide acceptance.

This ancient deity like the symbol on the card is also called John Barleycorn, or Khwaja Khidur to the SUFI mystics.

The Pagans call him Pan, he was also known as DIONYSIS , God of the Vine and divine intoxification, who became twisted into the DEVIL by the Christian church.

His spiritual meaning is that of forgiveness opposite sign PISCES. He is benevolent fruitful, intoxicating, rich, wealthy, the MASCULINE aspect of NATURE. Her fertilizing consort.

MEANING 

Center in earth energy. Stay grounded as the tides  of change continue to swell. Get out in nature barefoot, walk on the beach, feel your awesome gift to be alive and be creative. Plant your garden for the future harvest. Summer is soon here. Plan for the Harvest in the Fall.

Take some deep breaths and see your mother as the Goddess, as the perfect mother, see her real frailty, her own wounds and struggles, and love her imperfection the same way she loves yours. Know that whatever her love or perceived lack of, that she love you unconditionally.

Love our mother the EARTH as well.  Everyone is born of woman, your Mom is your, and everyone’s  very real, living experience of the Goddess.
