There are many variations on the Devil Card in the Tarot.

It traditionally shows BAPHOMET a pan like God with a man and a woman bound and chained before him.

The Devil is associated with the Astrology sign of CAPRICORN as he relates to earthy, material, corporeal desires of the flesh and worldly success.

Greed, selling your SOUL TO THE DEVIL  for material gain as in The famous film Rosemary’s Baby.

In the Harry Potter Tarot the Devil is of course Lord Voldemort. The total incarnation of evil, power over, ruthless,vindictive, inhuman, separated, soul wounded, totally rejected.

The CATHOLIC CHURCH created the Devil, the devil is all about projection. Yes in JUNGIAN psychology, the shadow.

The Devil represents all of our “evil” taboos and unacceptable parts of ourselves, that’s the shadow we see in all “others.”

Whether that is fear of homosexuals, Jews, Infidels, liberals, immigrants, Muslims, fat people, witches, conservatives, intellectuals or Fear itself. Muslim Terrorists have the biggest blackest shadow of all.  Also NEW AGE whiter than white shadow people who assume they are purer, higher, etc. Ascending.  Also very dangerous.

They symbolize our own unaccepted unintegrated parts of ourselves.

The Devil is fear, HATRED,  separation. The opposite card to THE Devil it’s partner is THE LOVERS. 15 & 6 = the same number.

Carl Jung famously said there are only Two emotions. LOVE or FEAR.

If we choose LOVE then all is ONE harmonious there is no “other.”

If we choose FEAR  and separation then we are left out in the cold, we separate ourselves from creation.

Where there is LOVE there can be no fear.

Fear of the Devil of Hell, or eternal damnation a story the CatHOLIC church made up keeps people in check.

YES there is real evil, negative entities abound. The Kabbalah calls them Qliphot or “Shells.”

THE CATHOLIC CHURCH  burned tortured and killed around 9 million mainly women for over 300 years, to steal their property, to disenfranchise midwives, independent women, pagans who still believed in the OLD RELIGION of the Goddess, Nature, which honored sexuality as part of Life.

The Church accused others of  ”Consorting with the devil” is a euphemism for their own greed, denied lust, attempting to control human sexuality, their “holier than thou” stance.   REALLY if there ever was a devil in disguise it is the Church itself. Not the beautiful teachings of JESUS

but that kind of organized power and control hungry manipulative, sexually deviant CHURCH.

THE VATICAN is going to come apart at the seams now because of child abuse, stealing, robbing, and worse. 

Forget all organized religions unless they practice what they preach.  Tibetan Buddhists do not fight or kill.

THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!

I am late today, because I have just  finished up my taxes. TAXES, ruled by Saturn. The DEVIL is known as SATAN/the planet SATURN.

The earthy real world = the wordly temptations of the flesh.

We live in a greed filled almighty buck Devil world right now.  The Devil is so deep and complex.

MEANING

Make friends with your own shadow, what bedevills you is something within yourself, never anything outside.  What tempts you?  Sex, Drugs, Chocolate cake, ambition?  Are you struggling with your addictions? Your own inner demons? What is the core hurt behind that addiction?

LOVE IS ALWAYS THE CURE.

That is one of the major lessons in the Tarot. The Devil was originally PAN the pagan horny half-goat- the association with Capricorn. The Thoth Tarot shows an erect penis subliminally in the image. Embrace all of life, sex is  a natural part.  YOUnger people are freer with sexuality but the old Devil’s still linger. They are all of our fears.

The Rape of the World Pluto Retrograde,Astrology of fearlessness

I am aware of the tragedy that women and girls are being raped physically ever day in the thousands
how the Earth herself is being raped by big Multinationals, MONSANTO, oil, mining, deforestation. It makes me sad.

MYTHOLOGICAL Psychologically Rape is in the story to force one to wake up – this is  Archetypal territory here not to be taken literally, the myth of being wounded to grow and awaken is primal, it is part of life. The parents need to push the little bird out of the nest so it can fly, sometimes they hit the ground.

Not to mention Dictators and Plutocrats in the world and governments who are destroying conquering and killing

So be fearless  for these next months. What does your soul need to feed itself, to grow now?
As if your life depended on it.
As Joseph Campbell says the myths still live within us, through us.

Something about TAURUS the throat, music, soul music.

Orpheus was married and widowed on his wedding day and was so sad he made the perilous journey to Hell and played for Persephone and Hades so they would release his Beloved to life again. They agreed on the condition that Orpheus did not look back at his wife until they reached the upper world. All was well until they almost made it out when Orpheus, overjoyed turned to look at his beautiful wife and OH NO she vanished for all eternity back to Hades. Eventually a group of women tore him apart as he spurned all their romantic desires.

 

What’s the moral of this story? Be tough and never falter? Move on with acceptance and grace even though your heart is broken to bits?

 

 Has there been a time in your life when you were so grief struck by a relationship that ended that you felt you couldn’t live without them? Or perhaps they died? suddenly? You’d do anything to get them back but in the end it failed, you had to accept it. But part of you carried the heart break and refused to go back into and trust  life.

 

How much time have you spent being unable to let go and accept  live?

Bride over Troubled Heavy Scorpio waters Venus

I read a channeler friend’s blog and her spiritual guide said all the old Draconian influence was totally gone since Dec 21 2012. All that was left was residue.

Sounded nice and optimistic… we shall see.

The Tarot reader Psychic Shamanic Healer’s life..

 

I had a long time client come for a reading Sunday afternoon, and I felt really connected and was channelling from my Higher Guides for her healing, all about alchemy. It was feeling great. She went through a big catharsis in the reading.

Then later this evening I was doing a reading with a new client in Australia and there was so much loud technical interference – satelite techno-chatter klunk klunk klunking- I couldn’t here her,she could hear me but she didn’t hear the cosmic interference on my end. So after about 8 tries, we decide to deal with her reading another way.

The static felt like it was the actual vibrational energies of the tension of the Scorpio Moon conjunct Saturn/Mercury Pluto conjunction and Mars Saturn square approaching.

It felt like some intergalactic nasties were attempting to use the heavy vibes for a download through the phone line. I suspect sunspot activity too. It didn’t feel good. In fact I felt like I’d taken a huge hit. All the deep dark secret Scorpio Moon Saturn old karmic stuff came up. I felt like I got slimed. Yuck.

USE Psychic protection at all times

Be very careful, protective and aware at all times. It had nothing to do with my clients but simple the very heavy planetary energies right now another Saturn test to cross. Like we need psychic condoms.

Saturn represents the DEVIL in the Tarot. #15 and I realise that the Devil had been the key integration card in my clients reading. Hmm.

I smudged the house, and have been praying to recover as I felt totally energetically vampirised.
