This is the THOTH Tarot Prince of cups

There is a huge variety of interpretations of this card. The COURT or personality cards are the most complex. They invite the greatest canvas for each artists’ individual projection and interpretation. This cards’ symbol runs the gamut from being Sir Galahad, and the Holy Grail, to being interpreted as Narcissus and the Frog Prince.

I mainly use the THOTH Tarot it is attributed to Oct 13 – Nov 12. 

That’s 22 degrees of LIBRA -22 degrees SCORPIO

If you are born with the SUN Moon or other planets, angles within those degrees, this card symbolizes your energies there.

Romance novel-

The PRINCE is a younger Masculine energy. He symbolizes the AIR of WATER.  The Card shows a man astride a vehicle or chariot, with a great bird, an eagle pulling it, skimming over the waters of the Unconscious. In his right hand he holds a water lotus, symbol of the depth of soul, the mud is the mucky, dirty, shadow, underside of life. In his left hand he holds a cup or grail with a serpent coming out of it. Which he is intently focussing his gaze on, this is his goal. He wears an eagle crowned helmet. He is protected by spirit and has attained power and abilities. He is not armoured, he is vulnerable. We cannot see directly into the depths of the water but we can certainly sense what lurks in the depths. 

THE MEANING

The ability to detach- as Libra in an air sign from the heavy, intense, obsessive, controlling emotions of SCORPIO.The card shows control and poise of the mind and of the emotions.  Vigilance is necessary. The downside is going to much in the other direction and being afraid to really feel and open up and love. Many people do this  acting cool and detached and untouchable but it’s all a false front for fear and insecurity. Usually the Feminine asks the Masculine to go deeper in his feelings to join her in the crucible, the Grail, where the 2 meet as one in relationship.

The 10 of Swords

This is one of the most POSITIVE images of the 10 of swords which is usually a very negative seeming card.

Swords represent the mind, consciousness, thoughts and all AIR Signs- GEMINI- where the Sun is now, Libra and Aquarius.

MEANING

All 10′s are completions, endings,  fulfillment, no where left to go- but to start over.

You’ve run out of ideas, you’ve thought about this to the 9th degree, That’s It! Enough. 

Get out of your head. Your mind is a mine field of negativity. STOP! It’ll only drive yourself crazy thinking about it.

Make POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS! Your mind creates your reality. 

Make space for new ideas and Intuition to come through.

The synchronicity here is that I was thinking, and swords are thoughts, mind, consciousness, that I wanted to teach an Astrology and Tarot workshop.

Each of the ‘pip” or numbered suit cards govern a specific part of the Zodiac. Each Zodiac sign is broken down into 3 segments of 10 degrees each. Each part, called a  ”decan” is ruled by a specific sign in sequence. Air decans are  Gemini, Libra then Aquarius.

For example -the 10 of swords, rules over the last AIR element decan- that of Aquarius. It governs the time of year of June 11-20 and the degrees of 20- 29.59 of Gemini.

VENUS, MERCURY  and JUPITER are now within those degrees, in order and you can see them clearly in the sunset skies these days.

Think outside the box, in true Aquarian ruled fashion. 

ASTROLOGY

GEMINI Sun has squared off with Neptune in Pisces at 6:26 am EDT  Your intuition is strong today.

Felt like we need something lighter on the Uranus Pluto Exact 3rd square today.
I've drawn from the Inner Child Cards a beautiful Tarot deck transformed through Fairy Tales.

9 of swords

This card is usually considered to be a heavy card. Swords are thoughts, the mind, consciousness. 9 is the number of perfection. 9 symbolizes  limits, boundaries, the end of the road.
The Inner Child card shows a boy surrounded by 9 swords. Symbolically he is imprisoned by ideas and mental constructs keeping him imprisoned. A whimsical dragon is in the forefront of the image. The Dragon symbolizes  the defensive energy, pain and protection, the denial of Self.  The beast is a shadow part of the Self that must be befriended, not slain, as an ally to get to the hidden treasure within, the authentic Self.  Dragons always protect the gold of Self. Be aware of your self-imposed limited viewpoints and philosophy.
MEANING
Going beyond the limits of known ideas and space. Old thoughts, are ready to dissolve. Nine is completion.In Taoist symbolism the dragon is revered as a spirit that shows "the way."  All Fairy Tales and modern Myths, like Star Wars, Shrek, Avatar, etc.  have powerful archetypal significance.
Be like the Star Trek crew and bravely go beyond the limits of your own outworn ideas. Seek your inner dragon and let it guide you towards a transformed vision of your future goals. Take the red pill, as in the Matrix. End your mind games.

Be willing to free your mind and self to explore exciting new visions. Dare to go where you haven't been before.
VERY synchronous for the Uranus Pluto square. Squares produce friction, like rubbing two sticks together, their aim is to ignite a spark. Uranus is Higher consciousness, higher mind. Pluto is the shadow, the dragon, Death. Both are powerful allies. Fantastic! I love it.
