Scorpio the 8th sign symbolizes the immortal SOUL. Scorpio the 2^nd water sign is concerned with all the Biggies, major life issues like sex, power, control, the shadow, death, rebirth, so it is totally a fitting emotional alignment for EASTER.

Easter or EOSTRE {  female ovulation} is an ancient PAGAN fertility festival. The egg and rabbits are fertility itself. These symbols have been added to Christs' ancient Archetypal tale of death and rebirth.  Ancient religions had the Goddess' son or consort, mate with her, and then be ritually tortured and sacrificed in order to resurrect the earth's new crops, the Goddess’s fertility.

During the Passover ritual one eats bitter herbs, to commemorate how bitter life has been for the Jews who were slaves for 300 years.  There is ritual dipping of   fingers into blessed wine and dropping a drop for each plague that God sent on Pharaoh and the Egyptians. One eats hard boiled eggs as fertility symbols, eats sweet crushed apples and honey with bitter radish to remember that life is the sweet and the bitter. This is a wise way to remember, by ritually making the memories physical, eating the memories digests them.

Allow yourself to be with the lunar tides, on the birth death resurrection themed super moon. Feel the full Moons’ lingering influence as soulful emotions ooze into the ethers.

Whatever cross you have had to bare, has you nailed to, hung up on…Where have you felt you were the sacrificial victim of YOUR OWN making, first? The someone else involved is only a projection, real but a reflection, like the moon, a  mirror of yourself.

Not that I am a huge hockey fan but I am a Canadian { Canuck,eh?} and even though I don't wear a toque or know how to spell it without a spellchecker I dont drink beer either! Of course I grew up with Hockey Night in Canada and Foster Hewitt, the voice of every Hockey Game since time out of mind, since I can remember as my Dad was a huge sports fan and that is what being Canadian is all about. It is like Canada's religion, as baseball is America's sport.

Now being a Canadian and the word Patriotic are basically a contradiction in terms, up until recently when Vancouver hosted the Winter Olympics last year. so patriotism is a tad fresh and new and suspicious to us Canadians. So I am being impartial. It's a deja vu of the Olympic hockey match up between the U.S. and Canada and we know who won that one!

Now as synchronicity would have it June 15 sees a VERY POWERFUL Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse at 1:14 pm PDT conjunct to the Galactic Center and the nail biting grand finale of the 2011 NAtional Hockey League season on the same day! The Stanley Cup,the covetted silver trophy goes to the Winner who goes down in Hockey History. Series is tied. Boston or Vancouver? I am writing about each team's captain's Astrology chart right now. But I have predicted Vancouver to win all along,. know they have a psychic predicting parrot in Vancouver like the Octopus at the FIFA cup who predicts Van. to win. I have been in good animal company all along. Sagitttarius loves animals as well.

Here is the Vancouver Canuck’s Captain’s Daniel Sedin’s Astrology Chart. The green glyphs for the planets as they will be on the Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse June 15 2011 are on the outside of the Natal birth chart wheel.

I’ll keep it short and simple.  I don’t have an accurate birth time so have set the chart up on a Natural house system.

Eclipses are very important turning points, especially this one, being very long over an hr and very dark a total central eclipse. A lunar eclipse affects the people, crowds, the collective unconscious, as the moon represents the people’s emotions.

The Eclipse falls at 24 degrees of Sagittarius Connected to Sedin’s Neptune, planet of the dream but also illusion and fantasy, it is creative and spiritual.

The Eclipse squares exactly Sedin’s Jupiter; ruling planet of Sagittarius { sports, foreigners} located in Virgo in the birth chart and is the natural 6^th house of work and service. He will have to outsmart, analyze very cannily and be perfect to win.

Expect the unexpected!

Uranus the planet of freedom, chaos, liberation, revolution, collectives, is exactly opposite Sedin’s 3 degrees of Libra sun right now {on DC}. The Canucks were not expected to be where they are right now.

JUPITER the planet of BIG, optimism, kinda like Santa Claus and James bond roles into one, the Great Benefic is exactly on Mr. Sedin’s Natal Moon at 4 degrees of Taurus.

As Jupiter is the final dispositor, an astrological term sounds like a hockey term? Jupiter shoots he scores!!!! Mars planet of the warrior, will also be exactly opposite Sedin’s Mercury, planet of communications. A very heavy-handed, lots of fights, very exciting game, a fight to the finish.

But just look at Daniel Sedin’s chart, what do you see? What image? His chart looks exactly like the symbol for Sagittarius, which rules sports, hockey and it is the perfect arrow being shot from the bow of the Moon in Taurus. Through the ancient law of similes, this is the symbol for Sagittarius, the seeker of truth and justice. And this is IT!!! As above so below says the hermetic Maxim.

May the one taking the higher and maybe feistier road win. Remember it is also Gemini time, the Daniel Sedin is also an Identical Twin. So he is personifying perfectly the SUN, the central source of the eclipse as well.

Boston Bruin’s Captain Zdeno Chara Astrology  

The Lunar Elcipse wll affect Boston’s Captain quite drastically. The Sun and Moon will both be squaring his Sun, which symbolizes ego, thinking and vitality, and his Mercury, planet of communications and thinking.

The warrior planet Mars will be exactly triggering Zdeno’s Jupiter,by being exactly passing over it on the Big Man’s natal Jupiter at 26 degrees of Taurus which by the way is exactly QUINCUNXEd sounds like one two punch by the Moon on the eclipse. Visualize a lunar pounding. Chara will be raving mad like a bull, seeing red. I do predict a very hot battle on the ice. It will be steaming.

Chiron the wounded healer is very close to Xhara’s Moon making him vulnerable deep down.

Saturn Lord of karma, the cosmic cop is berry close to approaching Chara’s natal Pluto. This can be very restrictive as he will do anything for power at this point but that can prove to be his undoing.

Chara’s Natal Mars is at 28 degrees of Aquarius very close to the passage of Neptune again; Neptune rules dreamers, creators, chameleons, drinkers, addictions, and illusions. Steroids? Painkillers?

Jupiter has recently passed over Chara’s Chiron where he is the most wounded and the most vulnerable. He is putting on a big show.

The Moon is Trining, an easy aspect his natal Venus at 24 degrees of Aries and his Chiron at 29 degrees of Aries. Trines are easy aspects but it depends on what and how they are acting.. This indicates the Lunar eclipse will make it easier for Chara to feel more unconscious, and vulnerable from the effects of the Eclipse.

The transiting North Node, which is considered positive for spiritual development and worldly development depending n which way you are evolving can be good or bad. The north Node which is creating the eclipse is at 23 degrees of Sagittarius, squaring Chara’s sun, trining his Venus; Venus rules love, riches, relationships, values, women, silver.

The coveted Stanley Cup is silver. There is a Stanley Park in Vancouver.

The South Node is in Gemini opposite at 23 degrees and is also squaring Chara’s Sun. This is a very pivotal to say the least time in his life. It is fate.

Sagittarius rewards the truth seeker, the higher thinker, the philosopher, and the fair player. Sagittarius rules foreigners, both of these guys are foreigners playing in different countries than they were born in. Sagittarius rules the law, so there may be some legal kaffluffles in the game or after.  

And if we want to look at the charts for Canada vs. U, S, winner by the Eclipse

The Eclipse falls in the first house, ME MINE, the South Node at 23 degree so Gemini is right on the U.S. Mars at 21 degrees. This means they did it before, in the past, the sun will be on the U.S. Mars, which shows a lot of aggression, a blow out. I don’t feel this is a positive omen.

Canada’s Birth Chart July 1, 1867 Ottawa 12:05 pm

The Sagittarius Lunar eclipse falls in the 3^rd house of communications. The Sun and South Node are close to Canada’s Venus at 16 degrees of Gemini.

Similar to the U.S. situation Venus represents values, relationships, artistry, and creativity, silver {the Cup is silver} South Node represents the path of least resistance what we are most familiar with. The Lunar eclipse squares Canada’s nodes at 17 degrees of Virgo the North and 17 degrees of Pisces South, {not shown}. This is also very fateful.Hard work, accurate playing, out thinking the other time and perfection.

 

I predict Vancouver to win. It is Canada's time to shine in the Sun. Hockeyclipse eh! The next Solar Elcipse occurs on July 1st Canada's Birthday.
