RIP Cory Monteith, the Astrology of his life by Tara Greene

My daughter Leah, 15 woke me up crying because Cory Monteith, 31,  had suddenly passed away yesterday July 13 in a Vancouver Hotel room. Like millions of other Glee fans who’ve watched since 2009, Cory Monteith, who played football hunk, Glee singer and drummer Finn Hudson, was a huge fave. rocketing to fame after the first season, he graced the covers of Vanity Fair along with co-star and real life fiancée Lea Michelle. Having never really sung before his renditions of old pop favorites made him a multi million selling pop star. Sounds pretty lucky.

The handsome 6′ 3 ” Monteith was raised in Calgary. His parents divorced when he was 7 and he was raised by his Mom in Vancouver with an older brother.  He started using drugs and alcohol at 13. He dropped out of High school at 16 and got into petty crimes. He went to rehab at 19 when his Mother and others intervened. He said ‘ I am lucky to be alive.” He started acting after rehab. He found great success and real life love with fellow GLEE star Lea Michelle, they were engaged and apparently planning to marry in two weeks. He had recently check into rehab again in March of this year. He was found dead in his hotel room on July 13 after failing to check out and apparently had died a few hours before. No drug evidence was found so the news said but an autopsy is scheduled shortly to find out the cause of death.  Fans and friends world-wide poured out their shock and grief  immediately with Tweets . Condolences to Cory’s family, Lea Michelle and all the Glee crew.  Cory, may your soul rise to the Light.
Let’s look at his Astrology chart to find our exactly who Cory was.

Cory was born May 11 1982 in Calgary Canada, I have no exact birth time, so use Noon for a public figure.

An earthy, sensual, down to earth Taurus with Wounded healer CHIRON conjunct to his SUN. Right away this points to someone who physically experiences vulnerability and pain. HIs task is to bring that pain to Light or not.

The noon chart gives him a LEO ascendant which is perfect for a StAR, a performer, a charismatic, person.

Looking at this chart I’d have to say I believe he was born earlier, and that the Sun would be in the latter degrees of Sagittarius conjunct the planet of actors, addictions, compassionate idealists Neptune.

This would place Cory’s Moon, symbolizing his mother and the unconscious, on the Galactic Center, a very higher consciousness focussed place which often makes people feel connected to a higher teaching but feel very alienated on the earth plane.

With Neptune conjunct the Sun in Sagittarius, Corey was a very sensitive, psychic, compassionate, dreamer and easily susceptible to alcohol and drug abuse. Sagittarius is the sign of the teacher, philosopher, jock, travellers, people who  relate on an International level. Moon in Sagittarius peeps are very affable, easy-going, laid back, good-humoured, promise more than they can deliver. They are often self- taught, although always hungry to learn.

Mercury in GEMINI is in its home sign, and Cory was younger looking, he was playing a teenager when he was in his late 20′s. This is the sign of the twin personality, dual natured, charming, talkative, a trickster personality. Mercury is opposite Uranus in Sagittarius making Cory susceptible to radical changes of mind, ambivalent and  very highly wired, and tuned like a racing car, easy for him to get “string out.”  He was a unique individual, who marched to his own drummer,  very bright, Uranus was Retrograde in his natal chart, a karmic sign.

Cory was born with Venus in Aries, and Venus rules charm, money, relationships, independence, anger, defenses. He would have been attracted to strong independent, self- made women. Venus in Aries brings spontaneity into love affairs, they just simply jump and forget to look before they leap. Venus in Aries peeps tend to live fast and dangerously, they crave speed and excitement. He knew what he wanted instantly and went for it.

I believe he said they looked at each other and instantly recognized the other. That is a “soul mate” aspect.

JUPITER is Retro in Scorpio, so Cory had a seriously large shadow. Scorpio is the sign of birth and death regeneration, sex, power, money, secrets, the Unconscious. He had raw huge appetites and his shadow or demons ran him most likely.

SATURN at 16 degrees Libra Retrograde is again especially Karmic. Repeating relationships, very charming, appearing nice, the go-between, the ambassador, Mr. Nice Guy. Cory was born during the major divorce era and the divorce of his parents at a young age may have been one of the causes of his drug use.

URANUS is at 3 degrees Sagittarius a person who will radicalize education, Interesting that his TV show Glee was about high school students learning interpersonal and creative coping skills through singing. This is a generational aspect.

NEPTUNE at 26 degrees SAGITTARIUS, on the G.C. and conjunct LILITH!

Lilith is the “demoness” the shadow feminine, the untamed wild psyche aspect. This alone could have well contributed to his drug and addiction problems. I believe he had major insecurity and abandonment issues.

PLUTO in LIbra Retrograde  again a Generational aspect. Pluto in Libra is caught in a karmic web of relationship needs, secrets, control, shadow material, haunted by insecurities.

Cory’s North Node at 14 degrees Cancer

is exactly conjunct the U.S. Sun so no wonder the Canadian star made a huge success in the U.S.

This is also the degree of Sirius the large star the Egyptians worshipped as OSIRUS the God of death and rebirth. Jesus’s story was patterned after Osirus’s archetypal story. So Cory was meant to learn through this archetype. In Cancer family, love, emotional security was what he needed to develop.

The South Node in Capricorn indicates that he had been a man of substance, power, wordly success in a past life. Someone who was “all business” cold have a cold serious nature. We all tend to be attracted to what we did in the past.

 

ON THE DAY CORY  DIED

WOW the transits are exact and stressful.

MARS at the critical 29th degree of GEMINI conjunct the North Star is directly opposite Cory’s Natal Neptune and his Moon. Mars in Gemini is impulsive, perhaps Cory had a bi-polar problem?  The Mars Neptune conjunction certainly suggests a drug overdose and connected to the Moon through an unconscious neediness, a hole in his emotional body that craved being filled.

Jupiter in early Cancer is square to his Natal Venus in Aries again, risk taking and leaping before looking.

URANUS the planet of sudden change, chaos, revolution, in ARIES at 12 degrees was exactly square to his North and South nodes and moving slow. This is a Super karmic aspect. It’s like being hit by lightning. So whether the lightning was a needle or a heart attack will be known soon. Uranus is also Opposite Corey’s natal Saturn in Libra indicating disruptive catalytic energy, a system overload or meltdown.

SATURN having just turned direct on July 8 had been hovering right on Cory’s Jupiter in Scorpio. Saturn is always a fated, karmic, the grim reaper. Sounds like Cory took a gamble and lost.

PLUTO is also in a Square aspect to Cory’s Nodes, again a very  karmic birth and death, life changing pressure. Tis is a choice to unconsciously choose life or death, growth in the physical or transcending into the eternal realms to learn and grow from those planes.

To everyone who knew him they said he was a genuine and sweet man. It greatly saddened many for his life to end so tragically so young. I feel for his girlfriend Lea Michelle as well as his family.

DO YOU Keep track of your dreams? I’ve been keeping dream journals since I was a teenager. I have organized dream groups off and on for almost 20 years. I love and am fascinated by DREAMS.

These days you can use a voice activated recording device by your bed. You’d be amazed what jewels spill out of the mouths of sleeping dreamers. I want your feedback on your dreams.

DREAMS are the Royal Road of the SOUL according to Carl Jung and the basis for healing.  In Ancient  Greece if you were ill you would make your way to the Asclepius,where astrologers and diviner priests and priestesses would give patients herbs, and hallucinogens and one would stay in the Asclepion being treated and waiting every night for the HEALING DREAM to come, after which when the contents were integrated, one was healed.

My husband Napoleon Brousseau was near death from brain malaria in Indonesia years ago,this was before we were together. He had luckily had medicine to counteract it but he was in a very remote place and the doctor’s told him that there wasn’t anything more they could do for him, and they basically told his friend that he only had a few days to live they expected. He was hallucinating and he remembers that he had a LUCID dream that King Solomon came and healed him in the dream. after the dream his fever broke and he could get up. The doctor’s were amazed. He suffered no repercussions.

These days my dreams are mainly grand vivid LUCID dreams. You know when you have these because they are super VIVID in color and in tone. They are hyper real, SUPER HD, and often, super sensual. You may sense the feeling of cloth, feel very embodied,even smell and taste in your dreams which is a very rare factor.

The Grand Trines that are aligning now in the Heavens magnify the potency and power of everyone’s dreaming. Neptune the planet that rules Pisces which is itself the sign of dreams, spirituality, other worldly dimensions is in its home sign and will remain there till 2026. NEPTUNE in PISCES opens up everyone’s intuition. Everyone will be feeling more sensitive, telepathic, empathetic, but if you don’t know that that’s what’s going on, you may think you are going crazy. The combo of Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Scorpio sign of the Unconscious itself, are blending easily to produce great results.

Last night my dreams were so vivid. I could feel my Etheric Body, my soul body being weighty and inside of a physical body. I could feel my feet- PISCES Rules the Feet- hitting the ground. I could feel these very soft and comfy brown leather shoes I was wearing. I definitely remember feeling good, positive and affirming that in my dream. I awoke feeling great. Which has happened quite regularly these days.

In part of the dream I was cooking and tasting new recipes. The sense of taste and smell are extremely rare in dreams.

In another part of the dream I am with my daughter Leah and she is driving a white car, and I am sitting in the front seat beside her. She is presently only 15 and too young to drive, so this was some future scenario.

If you don’t remember your dreams. Don’t despair. Working with the Unconscious, the UNDERWORLD which is also Planet PLUTO’S Archetypal Territory along with Neptune takes practice. The TIBETAN Buddhists practice DREAM YOGA, a serious tradition. Much like shamans worldwide, and all “primitive” cultures do, dreaming is considered to be a very important part of daily life, something to be shared every morning. In Carlos Castenada’s books, his teaching from Don Juan a Yaqui Indian, whether it be fiction, still relates basic shamanic principles of the dreaming yourself awake, seeing the world as a dream. Zen Buddhist teachings also see the world the same way such as the classic Chinese Quote of ZUANGZHI.

JAMES HILLMAN modern post Jungian Depth Psychology scholar wrote much about the Dream world, going back to very ancient ways of working with the dream in as literal an Archetypal sense as possible and making analysands aware of avoiding the ego’s interpretation at all costs. The dream is dreaming you.

Steps for remembering your dreams.

1. don’t eat a heavy meal before you go to bed. Your stomach needs to be empty so that your body can focus on the non-physical side of sleeping more.

2. taking melatonin, available at any health food store, enables one to go into deeper relaxed and dream states. I usually take 3 mg. it is safe. Other herbals aid sleep, like hops, sleepy time teas etc.

3. state your intention in your mind as you lie in bed. “I will remember my dreams.” State as well, “I will be awake in my dreams.”

4. You can incubate a dream question. CAll in the HIGH PRIESTESS she is the Archetype of the Moon Goddess in the TAROT. Trump # 2. She is literally a guardian of the veil between the worlds. Phrase your question carefully. It should be  like what do I need to go further? keep it open but directed.

5. You will need to set your alarm a few minutes earlier than you normal. Let softer music awaken you. You want a soft landing and transition.

6. Don’t move a muscle when you wake up. Don’t open your eyes. It only takes 30 seconds to lose a dream, and moving and going into your head and starting to think lets the dream slip away from your  experience. Stay in your feeling body, the body does remember.

7. Ask yourself  ”where was I just now?”  Keep your mind quiet. SImply allow whatever you can recall. Allow whisps or full-blown recollection to come through. If at first you don’t succeed, try try again. It takes practice.

8. State your intentions of incorporating your dreaming into your daily life. So ask your unconscious to trigger your dream memories during the day.

9. Sleeping takes up 1/3 of your entire life and every night you do dream, So you are wasting almost 1 third of your entire lifetime by not tapping into and knowing Where YOU really are at night when asleep. Your soul is awake and unfettered by the physical body when dreaming. It is as close as you can come to your true spiritual reality while alive. Resolve to value your dream time every night.

10. Get a dream journal, intend to write down something even if at first no memories come through. You will get numbers, scenes, feelings. Some people’s’ dreams are like 3 hour movies in great detail every night. Every day they write pages of details. Your dreams are vast and work on different levels. You can tell when you are dreaming about something you just saw on TV, or had a conversation about the day or so before. The body also send health feedback in a dream but usually in a symbolic sense but often it is literal. Dream work in puns. You can dream into the future, In the dream state there is no time.

There is so much to know about dreams, they are a universal archetypal landscape. Don’t let anyone else interpret your dream for you. Tapping into your dreams gives you a clearer knowing of the SOUL’s intentions, of your true self. Basically treat every thing, object, action, person as a part of yourself seeking integration.

Lance Armstrong on OWN, IXION his future Astrology

Lance Armstrong, the defamed cyclist, cancer beater, has spent over a decade vehemently denying he used performance-enhancing drugs, and had stayed almost totally silent since the USADA decision last fall that concluded he perpetrated the biggest doping scandal professional sports has ever seen.

So why confess now, even in a limited way, to Oprah Winfrey? Will he name names?

The short answer is $

Armstrong is keen to have his lifetime ban relaxed so he can compete in elite triathlons, which are sanctioned by the World Anti-Doping Code. Usually the stated motive for this has been, “he can’t live without competing against others at the highest level” or whatever like that.

But a report in the Wall Street Journal mentions an unnamed source who says Armstrong sees competing in triathlons as his most reliable source of future income, which makes a lot more sense. But wait there’s more Archetypal Astrology at work underpinning all this.

Armstrong’s net worth is estimated to be $100 million+ US. But his fortunes will topple now that he is facing a barrage of lawsuits that could cost him tens of mills.

Big lawsuit has been launched by former teammate Floyd Landis. The suit alleges that Armstrong effectively defrauded the U.S. government, because the U.S. Postal Service was the title sponsor of his cycling team. The contract specified the team’s riders could not use performance enhancing drugs. Since Armstrong was part owner of the team, he could be on the hook for a substantial part of the estimated $50 million the U.S. Postal Service paid to be the main sponsor.

The U.S. Justice Department is now considering whether to join the lawsuit, and is expected to announce its decision Thursday. If it does, many believe that will greatly increase the chance of the suit succeeding.

Ixion was a myth, long story short,descended from war god Mars, trad. ruler of Scorpio. Ixion’s moral is about “what am I to do? vs. what I should be and do conflict of polarity/the right thing. Ixion is the first human in Greek Mythology to shed blood, much like Cain, he had a huge sense of ENTITLEMENT. IXION is about being conscious and Satunian, not Neptunian-denying of the crimes we commit. Jupiter- the LAW/ Zeus forgives him-Jupiter as ruler of Pisces- but he then IXION sex with an image- Neptune- of Zeus’s wife and Bites the hand that feeds him and creates the Centaurs themselves. He is then punished by Jupiter as Sagittarius law giver,

by being affixed to a winged wheel alive with searing fire. Ixion revolves on a an ever cycling wheel which gives him eternal fiery torment and disorientation -like being ever on Drugs. He can never gain any semblance of human bearings,he is beyond fixing, and from his totally helpless state keeps begging for mercy.

How fitting a description is that?
Plus Transiting  JUPITER is conjunct Lance's natal Saturn at 6 Gemini- turning Direct on that degree and quincuncx his IXION.
transiting URANUS at  5 degrees Aries is sextile to Jupiter/Saturn which forms another  
 quincunx -called a  YOD to Lance's natal IXION! 
 a YOD is  a finger of God aspect a kind of KOSMIC LANCE so to speak

transiting NEPTUNE is also SQUARE to Lance's natal Neptune/Jupiter for the last 2 years or so and Neptune in Pisces is 
squaring his Natal SATURN. Hoisted on your own petard.

Th Pluto/Uranus squares will continue this year to square his NAtal Uranus in Libra at 12 degrees,opposite his Chiron in Aries being conjunct by transiting Uranus.

Lance's natal Grand Air Trine is Uranus/Lillith IN LIBRA  to Saturn in Gemini/MArs/Morth Node in Aquarius. MArs has just passed 
his North node- triggering that positive energy for the  next two years.
The LUNAR Eclipse on November 28 occurred at 6 degrees Gemini conjunct LILLITH 
which formed the YOD from PLUTO and MArs at 8 of 
Capricorn sextile to Saturn,Venus at 6-8 Scorpio.
so we can easily see how all the symbols and signs fall into place.

Jupiter conjunct his Natal Saturn in Gemini begins a new 12 year cycle for lANCE. HE may become loose-tongued and name names but I still don't feel that will get him off free.

bUT i BELIVE AS HE HAS been a total crook, deceiving liar, and has DISAPPOINTED millions of cancer victims, WITH HIS CYNICISM and lies, 
THAT HE WON'T MAKE IT- HE WILL BE ETERNALLY RECYCLING and 
DISGRACED LIKE IXION AS SATURN CROSSES BACK OVER HIS 12th house- he may HAVE TO GO TO TRIAL and end up in jail.
