THE SACRED INDIA TAROT 
THE KNIGHT of Disks rules the physical world. He is associated with the last decan of LEO-20-29.59 degrees and the first two decans of VIRGO- 1-20 degrees Virgo. Aug 13th- Sept 11th.
The Knight of DISKS is wise, he loves being in the physical world. He is a custodian.
He represents, youth great potential. He is  stable, of service, a perfectionist, nit-picky, with a good memory. Sees practical material solutions and results.
In the Sacred India Tarot it depicts the Buddha who, the moment he gained enlightenment placed his finger on Gaia on Mother Earth to witness and make real his enlightenment. Ground with the earth, the telluric realm has the planet’s cellular memory with in. Rocks especially that is why it is so important to work with crystals.
This card also references the GREEN MAN, the vegetative GOD< very very ancient in India and all Pagan customs. The card depicts this being known as KIRTHIMUKHA  one of the earliest and oldest representations of the DIVINE in NAture in INdia. He is a protector, he is a YAKSHA. Buddha belongs to this clan. HInduism Buddhism and Jainism had to assimilate the Yakshas and the NAGAS the other deities  before they could gain wide acceptance.
This ancient deity like the symbol on the card is also called John Barleycorn, or Khwaja Khidur to the SUFI mystics.
The Pagans call him Pan, he was also known as DIONYSIS , God of the Vine and divine intoxification, who became twisted into the DEVIL by the Christian church.
His spiritual meaning is that of forgiveness opposite sign PISCES. He is benevolent fruitful, intoxicating, rich, wealthy, the MASCULINE aspect of NATURE. Her fertilizing consort.
MEANING 
Center in earth energy. Stay grounded as the tides  of change continue to swell. Get out in nature barefoot, walk on the beach, feel your awesome gift to be alive and be creative. Plant your garden for the future harvest. Summer is soon here. Plan for the Harvest in the Fall.
